Geret Coyne (born May 17, 1966 in Cayley ) is a former Canadian biathlete and today's biathlon coach.

Geret Coyne was on the Canadian national team for four years before continuing his coaching career. As an active player he took part in a Junior World Championship and started in the 1987/88 season in the Biathlon World Cup , but did not qualify against Glenn Rupertus , Ken Karpoff , Charles Plamondon , Paget Stewart and Jamie Kallio for the games in Calgary . He is the holder of a level 4 trainer license. He has been part of the Canadian coaching staff since 1994 and has been responsible for women for a long time. He has been the Canadian head coach since 2008. Since 1992 supervised Coyne biathletes at all Winter Olympics except the Games in Turin , 2006 . In 1994 and 2002 Coyne was named Canadian Biathlon Coach of the Year.
