Gerhard Fischer , also Gerd Fischer (born February 9, 1936 ; † August 30, 2011 in Bremen ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Fischer worked as a toolmaker. He was chairman of the works council in various companies.

Fischer was married to Johanna Fischer.

politics

Fischer had been a member of the SPD since 1963. He belonged to the local club Sebaldsbrück of the SPD and was chairman of this local club for many years.

From 1971 to 1995 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for 24 years and during this time also a member of the SPD parliamentary group committee. In the citizenry he was also represented in the deputations for work and for education, science and art and in the committee for affairs for the integration of foreigners.

Further memberships

Fischer was a member and chairman of the works council and the general works council in various companies.

He was a member of the workers' welfare organization and was active there in the district committee, in the presidium and in the Sebaldsbrück neighborhood meeting place.
