Gerhard Krampe

Gerhard Krampe (born May 11, 1891 in Hamm ; † October 14, 1980 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1954 to 1966 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After elementary school , Gerhard Krampe did an apprenticeship as a wire-puller . In 1909 he became a member of the Christian Metalworkers Association .

After the Second World War he became a member of IG Metall , joined the CDU and became CDU local chairman for Hamm-Süd. In 1946 he became a member of the Hammer city ​​council and took over the deputy chairmanship of the CDU parliamentary group. He was a member of the police council of the city of Hamm as well as the administrative district of Arnsberg . In the state elections in 1954, Krampe was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 114 (Hamm) and was re-elected in the two subsequent elections in 1958 and 1962. Krampe was a member of parliament from July 13, 1954 to July 23, 1966.

Krampe was a board member of the West German Association of the Catholic Labor Movement (KAB) and chairman of the Association of Catholic Settlers for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
