Gerhard Kubik (politician)
Gerhard Kubik (born December 18, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and was district chairman in the 2nd Viennese district Leopoldstadt from 1999-2013 .
biography
After graduating from a commercial academy, Kubik learned the profession of savings bank clerk. Most recently, Kubik was District Secretary of the SPÖ-Leopoldstadt.
Gerhard Kubik began his political career at a young age. He has been an SPÖ functionary since 1969 and, between 1987 and 1993, a district councilor and chairman of the commission for transport affairs. In 1993 he was elected to the Vienna Landtag and City Council. Kubik held this position until 1999 and again since 2013, from November 19, 1999 to April 2013, he was district chairman of Leopoldstadt.
Private
Gerhard Kubik is divorced and has two children.
