Gerhard Luther
Gerhard Luther (born April 28, 1912 in Berlin ; † September 3, 2002 ) was a German legal scholar .
Life
After graduating as Dr. iur. at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin on February 10, 1938, he was a member of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law from 1945 and in 1962 became honorary professor for international criminal law, comparative law and youth law and in 1969 professor (§ 73 UniG) for International criminal law, comparative law and youth law at the University of Hamburg .
