Gerhard Mayer (graphic designer)
Gerhard Mayer (born March 4, 1951 in Hollabrunn ) is an Austrian graphic artist and photographer .
From 1976 to 1983 he worked for the news magazine profil . In 1979 he was awarded the Dr. Karl Renner Journalism Prize for his report on the Steinhof state mental hospital at the Otto Wagner Hospital . Between 1989 and 2003 he worked as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, from 2003 he was in adult education as an IT trainer and since 2009 he has been working as a software developer at the University of Vienna.
