Gerhard hustle and bustle
Gerhard Trubel (born February 21, 1917 in Bochum ; † September 4, 2004 in Dortmund ) was a German church musician and composer.
Life
Gerhard Trubel was for many years director of the Dortmund Kantorei, which he founded in 1947.
Trubel was the creator of numerous polyphonic sentences in the hymn book of the United Methodist Church (EM), including Help Us Help Each Other (EM 558) and On the Many Paths of Life (EM 587). There are also a number of sacred and secular choral compositions, including Psalm 103 for 5-part choir a cappella.
Gerhard Trubel's estate with a catalog raisonné is administered in the Dortmund city archive .
