Gerhard Wegener
Gerhard (Gerd) Wegener (born February 2, 1870 in Bremen , † May 22, 1917 in Bremen) was a German bricklayer and politician ( SPD ).
biography
Wegener attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer. He then worked as a bricklayer and plasterer , became a master bricklayer in 1906 and was an innkeeper in Bremen from 1907 until his death.
politics
Wegener was a member of the SPD. From 1899 to 1905 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship in the 11th to 12th legislative period . He ran again in 1908 and 1911 but unsuccessfully for the citizenship.
