Gerhard von Ense

Gerhard von Ense (* in the 15th century; † August 21, 1531 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Gerhard von Ense came from the Lower Rhine - Westphalian noble family Ense . He was the son of Adrian von Ense († 1526, Drost zu Anröchte) and his wife Katharina von Berninghausen. For a long time, family members from Ense provided the house bailiffs of Stromberg Castle . On June 6, 1516, Gerhard is mentioned as a canon in Münster . He remained in office until his death.
