The house at Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße 46 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the cityscape of Magdeburg, Stadtfeld Ost, on the west side of Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße, in a corner position immediately north of the confluence with Hans-Löscher-Straße .
Architecture and history
The three-storey house was built in 1899 in the Weser Renaissance style. The facade of the representative building is decorated with a variety of elements and looks almost like a castle. There is a small polygonal bay window towards the corner . On the right-hand side of the east facade there is also an elegant triangular bay window, above which a wide half-timbered gable extends. Two risalites are crowned with tail gables. On the facade there are stucco decorations with floral and ornamental motifs.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82187 .
The building is viewed as significant in terms of urban development in connection with the preserved parts of the historic street.
