Kangaba is a commune and chief town of the district Kangaba in the region of Koulikoro in Mali .

geography

Kangaba is located in southwest Mali near the Niger River , about 70 kilometers southwest of Mali's capital Bamako .

Attractions

In the center of the village is the Kamablon community house , built as a round building in 1653. The roof is re-covered every seven years. This ritual is on the Unesco Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity .
