Germán Araújo , full name Germán Miguel Araújo Rosi , (born January 18, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.78 meter tall midfielder Araújo moved on loan from Danubio FC to the Canadian Soccer Club in January 2016 . There he made his debut in the Segunda División on March 5, 2016 , when he was called into the starting line-up by coach Elio Rodríguez in the 2-0 home defeat to Deportivo Maldonado . In the 2015/16 season he played a total of 13 league games without a personal goal. Another loan followed in August 2016. The receiving club this time was the second division club Sportivo Cerrito . In the 2016 season he was used nine times in the second-highest Uruguayan league. During the 2017 season he has been used twelve times in the league so far (as of August 11, 2017). He has not yet scored a goal for the club.
