Gernlinden is a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Maisach in the Fürstenfeldbruck district .

The parish village is about one and a half kilometers east of Maisach.

history

Gernlinden was first mentioned in 1322. Between 1695 and 1919 there was only ever talk of Gut Gernlinden.

After the land was handed over by Count Toerring in 1919, the village of Gernlinden was created with the help of the regional settlement company.

Gernlinden has a stop on the S-Bahn line S 3 Mammendorf - Pasing - Hauptbahnhof - Ostbahnhof - Holzkirchen.
