Zötzelhofen is a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Maisach in the Fürstenfeldbruck district . On May 1, 1978, Zötzelhofen came to Maisach as a district of the previously independent municipality of Rottbach .
The hamlet is about four kilometers north of Maisach.
history
The Eisenhofer built Rottbach Castle here around 1300 . This came by hereditary path around 1370/80 to the knight Cunrad den Wailbeck , who sold it to the Munich citizen Sighart Hudler in 1389. In 1402 the castle came to the Fürstenfeld monastery , which had the castle demolished and left the area to the farmer Zotel.
