Barley (food)

The barley , also Gersting called, is a dish from the flour of barley and eggs and milk, in the pan is heated prepares a meal. The food probably got its name from the way it was prepared by poor people, who usually used barley as ground grain for barley.

The dish is also called Getzen in Lausitz and Meißen , and "in Wendish Jezcmen ".
