Sinking

The Gertrud Bratt sank after the third torpedo from U 4 ( Kapitänleutnant Harro von Klot-Heydenfeldt) on September 24, 1939 at 12:28 p.m. in the North Sea at position 58 ° 40 ′  N , 9 ° 52 ′  E in the naval grid square AO 4146 The loss of life is unknown.
