Gertrud Triepel

Gertrud Triepel (born July 10, 1863 in Leipzig , † May 6, 1936 in Berlin ) was a German editor and writer .

Life

After the Franco-Prussian War , Triepel went to Grünberg ( Silesia ) with her family and completed her school days there. Then she also did an apprenticeship there.

In 1887 Triepel settled in Berlin and mostly earned her living as a freelancer for various newspapers and magazines. In spring 1889 she was given the management of the newspaper Deutsche Frauen-Zeitung . As such, she met the writer Viktor von Kohlenegg and married him on August 22, 1905 in Schöneberg.

The greater part of Gertrud Triepel's literary work certainly consists of journalistic or journalistic work. Next to it is her literary work, which - like that of her husband - is more to be attributed to the light muse. For many of her publications she used the pseudonym "Alix Treu".
