The English rose Gertrude Jekyll is a modern, frequent flowering shrub rose with a lovely, strong fragrance that David CH Austin bred in 1986 from the varieties Wife of Bath and Comte de Chambord - a popular Portland rose . It is dedicated to the English gardener Gertrude Jekyll (1843–1932).

Gertrude Jekyll has a bright, dark pink flower, its up to 11 cm large, flat flower is densely filled. The flowers appear in clusters of three to five. The foliage has long, pointed leaves and is gray-green; the shoots are heavily covered with spines. The rose forms a strongly growing shrub with a height of 1.5 m.
