The entire plant center Bermatingen in Bermatingen , a municipality in the Bodensee district in Baden-Württemberg , consists of an urban area, which is composed of several distinct population centers: the three-part peasant village and the parish hamlet Oberpfaffenhofen.
Bermatingen, first mentioned in the 8th century, looks far beyond the parish with the distinctive stepped gable of the church tower of the Catholic parish church of St. Georg on the northwest hill.
