Protected landscape component of the ravine on the Pahlsgrund

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The protected landscape component Hohlweg am Pahlsgrund with an area of 0.47  ha is located in the urban area of Marsberg southwest of Udorf in the Hochsauerlandkreis . The area was designated in 2008 with the Marsberg landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis as a protected landscape component (LB). The LB is surrounded by the Rotes Land nature reserve . In the northeast, near the LB, is the Udorfer Mühle nature reserve .

description

The landscape plan leads out to LB: "The way of opening up of the mill from the Udorfer Pansgrund is, west of morphologically distinct valley shape as slightly rising up to 3 m deepened Hohlweg formed. The southern embankments are covered by a relatively dense bush of sloe, hazel, elder, hawthorn and the like. Ä. Taken while north of the farm road attempts were made to use the hollow shape economically by growing spruce. On both sides, unfavorably cut arable land borders on the upper edges of the embankment, so that there is a latent endangerment of this culturally and historically interesting small structure through backfilling and "leveling". The bush communities on the southern embankment also complement the range of breeding habitats for the bird fauna of the large, lean grassland drifts to the northeast. "

Protection purpose

The designation as LB took place:

  • To maintain, develop or restore the efficiency and functionality of the natural balance
  • For revitalizing, structuring or maintaining the townscape and landscape
  • To ward off harmful effects

Like the other LBs in the landscape plan area, the LB represents an outstanding habitat for the ecological performance of the natural balance. It also serves as an element that structures and animates the landscape. The designation serves to ward off real or potential harmful effects through the removal of plants, relief or water changes, etc.
