The protected landscape component of Pingen bei Wülfte with an area of ​​0.44 hectares is located south of Wülfte in the urban area of Brilon . The protected area was designated as a protected landscape component (LB) in 2008 with the Brilon plateau landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . He is one of 38 LBs in the urban area of ​​Brilon. The LB consists of two sub-areas and is surrounded by the landscape protection area Lean Grassland Complex south of Wülfte .

Area description

These are areas with pings where lead and zinc were mined in historical times . There are several smaller pings in the northern part of the area. These wedge-shaped, trench-shaped or funnel-shaped depressions in the pings are the result of mining activities . Because of the danger to the cattle from the depression, they were excluded from the surrounding pasture use and a field wood developed. The southern sub-area comprises two large pings in a light stand of deciduous trees.

Prohibitions

As with other Protected Landscapes, the prohibition of damaging, tearing up, digging up or severing parts of it or otherwise impairing its growth or appearance has been established. Proper care of trees and shrubs is permitted by putting shrub species and individual trees on the sticks. When "put on the stick " of trees, sections of the same length of max. 50 m in length, of which two adjacent ones may not be felled within one year; In the felled sections, individual trees can be preserved as overhouses. There is also a ban on fixing or strengthening the eaves area of woody plants in the LB and on attaching, storing and depositing substances or objects in the area of ​​the natural monument that may endanger or impair the appearance or the existence of the natural monument. This also includes pesticides, organic or mineral fertilizers, soil improvers and animal feed. The appearance can be impaired in particular by attaching raised ladders, high hunting seats, fences and advertising media. It is also forbidden to fill, backfill, excavate and excavate or to change the shape of the ground in any other way. The protected landscape component may not be entered or driven on outside of the paved paths. Dogs are not allowed to run free.
