Protected landscape component Wiesenbrink
The protected landscape component Wiesenbrink with an area of 1.8 ha is located southeast of the Hagen motorway junction in the area of the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen. The LB is surrounded by the Barmerfeld nature reserve .

The LB "is the remainder of a mixed deciduous forest with a spring area as well as adjoining damp meadows and a meadow fallow in the bushing stage with a pond."
Protection purpose
According to the landscape plan, the designation took place in particular:
- "To ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining and developing a structurally rich wetland area as a habitat, especially for the characteristic plant and animal species of the source zones, wetlands and wet forests."
