The protected landscape component Wiesenbrink with an area of ​​1.8  ha is located southeast of the Hagen motorway junction in the area of ​​the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen. The LB is surrounded by the Barmerfeld nature reserve .

The LB "is the remainder of a mixed deciduous forest with a spring area as well as adjoining damp meadows and a meadow fallow in the bushing stage with a pond."

Protection purpose

According to the landscape plan, the designation took place in particular:
