The Hagen motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Hagen ; short form: Hagen cross ) is a motorway junction in North Rhine-Westphalia in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region . It connects the federal highway 45 ( Sauerland line ; E 41 ) with the federal highway 46 ( Heinsberg - Bestwig ).
geography
The motorway junction is in the urban area of Hagen . The closest districts are Berchum , Bissinghausen , Emst , Eppenhausen , Halden , Haßley and Herbeck . It is located about 4 km east of downtown Hagen, about 12 km west of Iserlohn and about 15 km south of Dortmund .
The Hagen interchange has junction number 11 on the A 45 and number 42 on the A 46.
Design and state of development
The A 45 has been expanded to three lanes in the direction of Frankfurt due to the high traffic load, and the A 45 is two lanes in the opposite direction. The A 46 has four lanes. The indirect connecting ramps are single-lane, the direct two-lane.
The motorway junction was laid out as a clover leaf .
