The Hanauer Kreuz is a motorway junction in Hesse , which is located in the Rhine-Main area . The federal motorway 66 and the federal motorway 45 intersect here . Roadways and bridge structures to the federal highway 43a are also integrated into the motorway junction . The Hanau-Fulda railway line also runs under the A45 motorway bridges .

The Hanauer Kreuz is located east of Hanau and northeast of Hanau-Wolfgang . The motorway junction is number 43 on the A 45 and number 38 on the A 66.
Design and state of development
The A 66 has been expanded to four lanes in this area. The A 45 and the B 43a also have four lanes. All crossings between the A 66 and A 45 are two-lane. The bridges to the B 43a are built with one and two lanes.
