The Erlenbruch motorway triangle is a motorway triangle under construction in the east of Frankfurt am Main , on the border between the Bornheim and Seckbach districts . From here, after completion of the Riederwald tunnel, the eastern branch of the A66 will branch off from the A661 and lead through the tunnel in the direction of Hanau and Fulda .
It is designed as a T-shaped motorway triangle, with the semi-direct ramp leading from the A661 to the north onto the A66 and the semi-direct ramp leading from the A66 onto the A661 southwards under the main carriageways of the A661 in trough structures .
construction
The construction of the triangle is integrated as a sub-project in the major project "A 66 / A 661 Construction of the Riederwald Tunnel". The planning approval decision was obtained in 2007. Construction work began in 2014 with the temporary relocation of the A661 in this area by around 30 to 50 meters to the east. The traffic structure should reach a depth of 15 meters and protrude about eight meters above ground level. The construction costs for the motorway triangle are estimated at 25 million euros. Only after completion of the entire project with the A 66, which according to 2017 will
take place in 2027 at the earliest , the structure can be opened to traffic.Web links
