The Fulda motorway triangle (abbreviation: AD Fulda ; short form: Dreieck Fulda ) is a motorway triangle near Fulda in Hesse . The federal motorway 66 ( Wiesbaden - Frankfurt am Main - Fulda) ends here and merges into the federal motorway 7 ( Flensburg - Hanover - Kassel - Füssen ) ( Europastraße 45 ). The motorway triangle was created in the course of the expansion of the federal highway 40 to the federal highway 66. In 2005, the redesign of the former junction Fulda Süd to the highway triangle was completed. Since then, there is a Fulda Süd junction on federal motorway 66 not far from the former junction of the same name.
