The Rendsburg motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Rendsburg ; short form: Rendsburg cross ) is a motorway junction near Rendsburg in Schleswig-Holstein . It connects the federal highway 7 ( Flensburg - Füssen ; E 45 ) with the federal highway 210 (Rendsburg - Kiel ).

geography

The motorway junction is located in the municipality of Schülldorf in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district . Surrounding communities are Schacht-Audorf , Ostenfeld and Haßmoor . It is located about 25 km west of Kiel, about 85 km north of Hamburg and about 55 km southeast of Flensburg. The Kiel Canal runs around two kilometers to the north and is crossed by the A 7 on the Rader Hochbrücke . In the southern area of ​​the cross there is the Husum – Kiel railway line , which is also crossed by the A 7.

The Rendsburg motorway junction has junction number 9 on the A 7 and number 3 on the A 210.

Design and state of development

Both motorways have four lanes. All connecting ramps are single-track.

The motorway junction was designed as a clover leaf . The main bridge structure leads the A 7 over the A 210.
