Gianfranco Albano
Gianfranco Albano (born April 30, 1942 in Forlì ) is an Italian television director .
Life
Albano was a student of literature, but dropped out in 1965 and worked for Filmcritica magazine . In 1968 he founded his own periodical, Cinema e film . At the same time he also made his first practical experience in feature films and through a contract with television, which led to several documentaries and short films for cultural programs. From the late 1970s, after his debut Il ballo dei pescecani (1977), he has made around 25 television films that have become popular with audiences. He made his only feature film in 1992.
