Gianluigi Calderone

Gianluigi Calderone (born March 9, 1944 in Genoa ) is an Italian television director and screenwriter .

Life

Calderone started out when he was just over twenty, working as an assistant director on films by Terence Young , Damiano Damiani and Bernardo Bertolucci . As early as 1966 he made his debut as a director, the short film All'apparir del vero, and three years later he began making television films, for which he is still active today and has had numerous audiences, including Il piccolo Mussolini in 1991 . His Appassionata was seen in the cinema in 1974 and the following year the Danza d'amore sotto gli olmi , which was also very popular .
