Giant Steps (band)
Giant Steps was a British dance-pop band from the 1980s, which consisted of singer Colin "Col" Campsie and bassist and keyboardist George McFarlane. Before that they worked together as a duo The Quick .
history
The band formed in 1988 and released their debut album The Book Of Pride that same year. The first single Another Lover became a hit in the US and reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 . The song was also heard in the film Loverboy and appeared on the soundtrack album for the film. The second single, Into You, was only a moderate success, reaching number 58 in the US in 1989.
In 1990 the duo broke up. In 2006 Campsie worked on an album by Kandy Floss.
