The Gibraltar Peak is a mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the West Quartzite Range of the Concord Mountains, it rises 1.5 km southeast of Lavallee Peak .
Participants in a 1967 to 1968 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after its resemblance to the Rock of Gibraltar .
