Gilbert Baechtold
Gilbert Baechtold (born August 8, 1921 , † December 19, 1996 , entitled to live in Osterfingen and Jouxtens-Mézery ) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).
Live and act
Gilbert Baechtold completed his studies with the Dr. iur. from the University of Lausanne and practiced as a lawyer from 1951. After holding political offices at communal and cantonal level, he was elected to the National Council for the canton of Vaud , to which he was a member from February 27, 1967 to June 9, 1983. He was particularly involved in foreign policy.
Gilbert Baechold is also the author of two novels.
