Gilbert Hainuca (born March 12, 1994 ) is a Namibian sprinter who specializes in the 100 meter run .

Athletic career

Gilbert Hainuca gained his first experience in international championships at the Junior African Championships 2013 in Réduit , where he was disqualified in the final. At the IAAF World Relays 2015 in the Bahamas, he took part in the 4 x 200 meter relay, but was disqualified there in the run-up as well. In 2018 he finished seventh in 10.49 seconds at the African Championships in Asaba . The following year he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and was disqualified there over 100 meters due to a false start in the preliminary run. With the Namibian 4 x 100 meter relay, he ran 41.03 s, which was not enough for a final.
