Gilbert Ravanel (born April 27, 1900 in Praz , † September 1, 1983 ) was a French ski jumper , Nordic combined athlete and cross-country skier .

At the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix , Ravanel competed in all three disciplines. In ski jumping he reached 22nd place after jumps on 32.0 and 32.5 meters. In the cross-country skiing over 18 kilometers he came in 23rd place. In the Nordic Combined, he reached 19th place in ski jumping and a 13th place in cross-country skiing and ended up 18th in the individual competition.

The descendants of Ravanel still run a sports shop in Chamonix today. In addition, the place Gilbert Ravanel in Chamonix was named after Ravanel.
