Gilberto Adame Soltero (born May 31, 1972 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a retired Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

Life

Adame received his first professional contract with his hometown club Atlas Guadalajara , in which he could not assert himself. He then played for the lower class Atlético Tecomán , before becoming a regular at UAG Tecos , where he was under contract for more than a decade and during his best phase also came to an international match for the Mexican national team.

From 2002 Adame played more often on loan for other clubs and made the start with the third club in his hometown , Club Deportivo Guadalajara .

In January 2007 Adame was sold to Club Tijuana and six months later he moved to Tampico-Madero FC , in whose ranks he ended his professional career at the end of 2007.
