The Gilchrist Aiguilles are a series of pointed mountain peaks on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . They loom just south of Mount Olsen on the Laurens Peninsula .

Scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) carried out surveys in 1948. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named her after Alan R. Gilchrist, who worked as a doctor on Heard in ANARE campaigns in 1948 and 1963.
