Gilles Roussel , aka Boulet , (born February 1, 1975 in Meaux , France ) is a French comic book author.

biography

After studying at the art schools of Dijon and Strasbourg , Gilles Roussel had his first success as a comic book writer for the magazine Tchô! . He is also one of the regular authors of Titeuf magazine .

In 2001 his first series “Raghnarok” appeared , followed by La Rubrique scientifique , Le Miya and Womoks (together with Reno ).

Boulet has also published a comic blog since 2004, which has around 30,000 visitors a day. In 2006 Lewis Trondheim and Joann asked Sfar Boulet to draw two episodes of the Donjon comic series . In Trondheim's Shampooing series (published by Delcourt), prints from Boulet's blog years are also published in book form under the title Notes .

Gilles Roussel lives in Paris.
