Gilly Lane (born August 26, 1985 in Philadelphia ) is a former American squash player .

Career

Gilly Lane played on the PSA World Tour from 2007 to 2011 and won three titles on it. He reached his highest ranking in the world rankings with position 48 in May 2010. Between 2009 and 2013 he reached the final of the US championships four times. In 2013 he was Vice-Pan-American Champion in mixed with Amanda Sobhy . With the US national team he took part in world championships in 2009 , 2011 and 2013 .

After his career, he became an assistant coach for the University of Pennsylvania college team in July 2013 . At this university he had a bachelor's degree in American history before starting his professional career , and a master's degree in Organizational Dynamics, Management and Leadership from 2013 to 2016 . Since July 2015 he has been a full-time trainer for the university team. He has also been part of the US national team's coaching team since April 2012.
