Gilmore Car Museum
The Gilmore Car Museum is located in Hickory Corners , about 20 kilometers southwest of Hastings in Barry County in the US state of Michigan . It was founded by Donald S. Gilmore in 1966. Classic cars are shown on an area of around 35.4 hectares and more than a dozen buildings . Attached is the Model A Ford Museum .
The museum works as a non-profit organization .
Exhibits
The museum opened in 1966. The number of automobiles on display increased from year to year. At the end of 2015, over 300 exhibits were already on display. There are mainly models of passenger cars produced in the USA , mainly from the 1920s and 1930s.
