Gimbi

Gimbi is a city in western Ethiopia in the Oromia zone . The city is on Route 5 (see list of highways in Ethiopia ), which leads from Asosa in the north-west to the capital Addis Ababa in the east .
In 2007 Gimbi had 30,981 inhabitants.
There is a partnership between the parish in Gimbi and the parishes of Bargstedt and Ahlerstedt in the Lower Saxony district of Stade .
Trivia
Gimbi Giant-Slayers is the name of an African Quidditch team in the Harry Potter novels by English writer Joanne K. Rowling .
