Gingerland Methodist Church is a Methodist Church in the Parish Gingerland in St Kitts and Nevis .

history

The community was established in 1801, the current building dates from the 1930s.

The school building, which also belongs to the building complex, was built in 1901 to replace an older building that was destroyed by a hurricane in 1899.

architecture

The construction is unusual as the church has an octagonal floor plan and was built in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The walls are made of gray stone with supports for the roof. The church has a hipped roof and arched windows, and octagonal monumental columns that support the arches. A concrete bell tower was added later.
