Gino Marturano

Gino Marturano (actually Luigi Marturano , born February 8, 1931 in Taranto ) is an Italian actor .

Life

Marturano started playing small roles as a teenager; so he played in 1946 in Vittorio de Sicas Schuhputzer and in 1949 in In den Klauen der Borgia . With Fellini's La Dolce Vita started his career in the late 1950s as an adult actor; About thirty supporting roles in adventurous films followed, including many spaghetti westerns , in which he sometimes appeared under the pseudonym Jean Martin - and should not be confused with the French actor of that name. After 1972 he could only be seen in very few roles, and not at all since 1987.

In 1966 Marturano obtained a helicopter pilot's license and used it for filming; In addition to stunt missions and assignments as a weapon master, he was also responsible for the flight scenes in 1991 for the television film Il ricatto 2 . In 1998 Marturano was among the interviewees for the documentary L'Americano a Roma .
