Gintautas Žintelis

Gintautas Žintelis (born April 8, 1943 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian engineer and former politician , minister .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Kaunas in 1960, Žintelis studied at the Faculty of Radio Electronics at the Kauno Politechnikos institutas from 1960 to 1965, and from 1967 to 1970 the aspirantur. From 1964 to 1967 he worked at the data center of the KPI, taught from 1970 to 1980, from 1980 to 1992 as a professor , head of the chair for computers . From 1992 to 1996 he was Lithuania's Minister of Communications and Informatics in the Šleževičius Cabinet , from 1998 to 2002 chairman of the board of AB “ Lietuvos telekomas ”, from 2002 to 2005 of AB “ TEO LT ”.
