Gintauta's Bartkus

Gintautas Bartkus (born June 13, 1966 ) is a Lithuanian business lawyer , lawyer and former politician.

Life

In 1989, Gintautas Bartkus graduated from the Vilnius University Law Faculty with a degree in law . This was followed by study visits to the University of Helsinki (Finland) and the Ålborg Universitetscenter (Denmark).

From 1989 he worked as an assistant for civil, commercial and commercial law at Vilnius University. In the government of Rolandas Paksas , Gintautas Bartkus was Minister of Justice from October 27, 2000 to June 20, 2001.

From 1992 to 2000 he worked as a lawyer, from 1993 to 1995 as a paralegal and from 1995 to 2000 as a lawyer in the law firm " Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiūnas ir partneriai ". Since 2004, Gintautas Bartkus has been a partner in the law firm “Jurevičius, Bartkus ir partneriai” (from 2004 to December 2008 Jurevičius, Balčiūnas ir Bartkus ). He is chairman of the George Soros Foundation Atviras Lietuvos fondas .
