Giorgio Bo

Giorgio Bo (* 4. February 1905 in Sestri Levante , Genoa Province , † 19th January 1980 in Rome ) was an Italian politician of the Christian Democrats (DC), among others 1948-1976 Member of the Senate ( Senato della Repubblica ) and was minister several times.

Life

After studying law, Giorgio Bo worked as a lawyer and university lecturer . He was involved in local politics as a member of the City Council of Genoa . Giorgio Bo took over the office of Minister for State Participations in the fourth legislative period from June 21 to December 3, 1963 in the Leone I cabinet , between December 4, 1963 and July 21, 1964 in the Moro I cabinet on July 22nd 1964 to February 22, 1966 in the Moro II cabinet and between February 23, 1966 and June 23, 1968 in the Moro III cabinet . During the fifth legislative period he was again Minister for State Participations in the Leone II cabinet from June 24 to December 11, 1968.
