Giorgio Costantini (actor)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Giorgio Costantini (born April 6, 1911 in San Michele al Tagliamento , † March 1, 1997 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

The tall, slim, good-looking Costantini made his debut on the theater stage early on, where he impressed with uninhibited and light-looking appearances. He also received offers for films and was able to play some leading roles (as in Capitan Fracassa ), in which his portrayals, however, seemed a bit clumsy, uninvolved and wooden; Costantini is one of the actors who were quickly built into stars by the outbreak of World War II and who did not have time to calmly develop their artistic skills. So his roles soon got smaller again and he was limited to supporting actors. On stage he played in the ensemble around Renzo Ricci and Laura Adani , where he received many positive reviews. After World War II, he remained a busy film character actor until 1959 and was involved in three scripts.
