Giovanna Corda
Giovanna Corda (born November 2, 1952 in Carbonia , Italy ) is a Belgian politician ( PS ).
Live and act
Corda completed a graduate degree in economics and trained to teach in provincial schools. After receiving the state teaching diploma, she was a commercial clerk and a secondary school teacher in the upper school in the field of economics. She was also a lay judge in various areas and an expert at the Migration Commission of the Sardinia region.
Corda is a member of the local association, the equal opportunities committee of the PS, the socialist community association, the regional board, the regional committee and the Federal Presidium of the PS. On September 3, 2007, she succeeded Marc Tarabella in the European Parliament and was a member of this until 2009.
