Giovanni Carboni (born August 31, 1995 in Fano , Marken ) is an Italian cyclist .
In the junior classes, Carboni came second twice in Italian championships in the individual time trial : in 2013 in the juniors and in 2016 in the U23. In 2017, he won the first stage of the Giro della Valle d'Aosta U23 race .
In 2018, Carboni then received a contract with the Professional Continental Team Bardiani CSF , for which he contested his first Grand Tour with the Giro d'Italia 2019 .
