Sibiu Cycling Tour

The Sibiu Cycling Tour is a Romanian cycling race that takes place every year in and around Sibiu in Transylvania . It was held for the first time in July 2011 as part of the UCI Europe Tour and classified as category 2.1 by the UCI . The stage race usually takes place over five days in four stages and a prologue . Two stages are usually held in the surrounding mountains around Sibiu.

Ratings

Since the event in 2014, the following ratings have been made by the leaders in the respective ratings:

  • Yellow jersey- Yellow jersey - The yellow jersey is worn by the overall leader.
  • White jersey- White jersey - The white jersey is worn by the leader of the points classification.
  • Red jersey- Red jersey - The red jersey is worn by the best Romanian driver in the overall standings.
  • Green jersey- Green jersey - worn by the leader in the mountain classification.
  • Orange jersey- Orange jersey - worn by the best rider under the age of 23 in the overall standings.
  • Blue jersey- Blue jersey - worn by the leader of the sprint classification.

  1. Koew was removed from all results lists from 2010 and 2011 after a positive doping test on June 5, 2010
