Vladimir Koew

Wladimir Koew ( Bulgarian Владимир Коев ; born August 31, 1979 ) is a former Bulgarian road cyclist .

Wladimir Koew was Bulgarian runner-up in road racing in 2001 . In the 2004 season he won the overall ranking of the Tour of Romania . He was suspended for two years in 2006 for doping with stanozolol . In 2009 he won the gold medal in the individual time trial at the Balkan Championships , and the following year he became Bulgarian champion in this discipline. He also won the Paths of King Nikola and the Tour of Romania. In 2011 he won a stage and the overall ranking of the Sibiu Cycling Tour . In 2012 he was convicted of doping with heptaminol in 2010 and banned retrospectively from 2010 for eight years. All successes from 2010 onwards were subsequently revoked.
